Abstract

I will discuss two topics from geometric representation theory which are related to the geometric Langlands program. The first topic is geometric class field theory due to Deligne. The second is geometric Satake Isomorphism due to Lusztig, Ginzburg, Drinfeld, Mirkovic and Vilonen.

THis is the second lecture in the Short Course on Geometric Langlands.
