We will discuss recent developments in differential algebraic geometry. Particular emphasis will be placed on the interplay of this subject with stability theory. $\vphantom{a}$ Though all are welcome to attend, this talk is intended to be accessible for graduate students of all levels; no background knowledge of algebraic geometry is expected.
