Abstract

In this talk we will introduce Drinfeld modules and their analogy with elliptic curves. We will also state a result of W. Duke for elliptic curves $E/\mathbb{Q}$ about the exponent of $E$, and then state (and prove?) the analogous result for Drinfeld modules.
