Abstract

Bus arrival prediction times are useful to many passengers of public transportation. There are many features of the environment that can be used to predict bus arrival times and many possible representations of these features. Two representations used to predict bus arrival times are discussed: a memoryless representation that uses only the current state of the bus and a full-memory or trajectory-based representation that uses the full history of the bus run.
