Abstract
We will discuss Buechler's paper "On nontrivial types of U-rank." Most of the talk will be devoted to proving Buechler's results in the simpler omega stable setting (where we can give simpler proofs). Before doing this, we will define forking, ranks, and geometries. This is the first talk in a series regarding this paper and perhaps continuing with other stability theory. A good backround for the talk would be understanding types, the Stone space and Morley rank.

There will be tea. Everyone is welcome to attend.
