Abstract

This is a report on joint work with V.Srinivas. Motivated by the splitting principle, we construct a simplicial complex which has the action of GL(n). This yields a sequence L_n(A) of groups that is connected to Quillen's higher groups K_n(A) via an exact sequence. We recover a Suslin of theorem on the Bloch group and K_3-ind.
