Abstract

We start to review Cartan's moving frame theory for real submanifolds in Euclidean space, for complex submanifolds in the Complex Projective space, and in particular for CR submanifolds in the Heisenberg Space which is bimeromorphic to a sphere. Then we use this theory to study holomorphic proper mappings between balls.
