Abstract

Clinical trial design issues from statistical point of view will be presented. Statisticians' role in a pharmaceutical company will be illustrated by description of statisticians' job responsibilities. The following issues will be discussed: 1)Handling of missing data; 2)Adjustment for baseline covariates; 3)Interim analysis; 4)Multiple comparison; 5)Adaptive design.
