Abstract
The canonical bundle formula due to Kawamata and others has played fundamental roles in the Minimal Model Program. I will present an analytic version (i.e. a refinement with a new proof) of the canonical bundle formula of Kawamata in the context of singular hermitian metrics. Our methods use L2 metrics and the valuative equivalence of plurisubharmonic singularities. As an application, we use it to identify which functions/sections can actually be extended in a general L2 extension theorem of Demailly. This talk is based on arXiv:1910.06917v5 and its recent updates.
