Abstract

Shintani zeta functions arise as generating functions for number of cubic fields. In this talk, we will be exploring the analytic properties of Shintani zeta functions and their automorphic form twists. As an application, we will also look at the shape of cubic fields, using the orbital integrals. This is based o joint works with R. Hough.
