- Abstract
- We first describe a recent generalization of F-split singularities known as quasi-F-split singularities, with particular emphasis on a connection to an object which shows up in number theory called the *newton polygon*. We then describe how techniques from computational number theory can be used to compute these invariants much faster than the previous state of the art. This covers joint work with Batubara and Pan.
