- Abstract
- In 2009, Pink and Rütsche proved the Drinfeld module analogue of the ``open image theorem''. Based on the open image theorem, it is natural to ask the function field analogue of two questions raised by Serre in the context of elliptic curves. The first question is whether there is a Drinfeld module whose adelic Galois representation is surjective. The other one is the analogue of the famous ``Serre's uniformity problem''. In this talk, I will discuss my result on a certain class of Drinfeld modules having adelic surjective Galois representation and a partial result of the uniformity problem.
