Abstract

Subconvexity problem is one of the central interests in analytic number theory, and it has been studied actively for over a century. In this talk, I will introduce the subconvexity problem with some known results, and then, I will survey the recent results of myself and R. Hough on the subconvexity of Shintani zeta functions.
