Abstract

Let $E/\mathbb{Q}$ be an elliptic curve defined over the field of rational numbers and let $p$ be a prime of good reduction for $E$. We discuss the growth in $p$ of the absolute discriminant of the ring of $\mathbb{F}_p$-endomorphisms of the reduction of $E$ modulo $p$.

The seminar lasts 80 minutes (9:30am-10:50am).
