Abstract

After a quick review of the apparatus of forcing, we will cover how the generic extension $M[G]$ is built from interpreted $\mathbb{P}$-names. We will then cover cardinal collapse with $Col(\omega,\kappa)$ and the consistency of $2^{\aleph_0}=\aleph_2$ from $Add(\omega,\omega_2)$.
