Abstract

I will describe Nakajima's basis and relations for the cohomology of the Hilbert Scheme of points on an algebraic surface with examples from $\mathbb{P}^{2}$. If there's time, I'll talk a bit about my recent work in trying to understand the relations for $\mathbb{P}^{2[n]}$.

This will be the last talk of the semester. We will go to Sweet Station in China Town directly after for dinner.
