Abstract

In this talk I will briefly review the connection between matrix factorizations and maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules and apply these to the study of hypersurfaces in prime characteristic twisted via Frobenius. We will then apply these to specific hypersurfaces. This is joint work with Khaled Alhazmy.
