Abstract

In this talk, we describe the speaker's most recent local resolution of singularities theorem. Motivating classical analysis problems will be given, the properties of local resolution of singularities that are needed will be explained, and the proof of the resolution of singularities theorem will be described. The talk should be accessible to non-analysts.
